Could be this a fake Duble Duck?
Hello all good people,
Recently I have purchased Duble Duck razor but I think it might be fake. Letters and duck signs looks like has been just manufactured. The scale is none of what I seen on DD... is this razor a fake DD?

Im not familiar enough with DD to give any sort of opinion about it being genuine or not, However I have bought many razors in the past with replacement/ wrong scales.
Its the etch that looks suspect IMO, Its too sloppy....

It looks like a special No. 1 with a re-scale job to me. I haven't seen an etching (at least yet, and mine doesn't have it on the blade) on a special but it look genuine otherwise. Hopefully bigspendur will chime in here.

Is a re-scale,I think at this point there are no faked razors in the world,who would fake a $50.00 razor?
Profit margin would be slim and none.
That being said,the market is ripe to fake #14 fillys and giant W&Bs,look at the prices some idiots pay

Yea it's genuine.
It's kind of in the category of the Dovo Ducks and Puma Ducks and French Ducks. In this case generic German Duck.
You will notice throughout the brand history the duck logo differs quite a bit. I have always wondered whether they were applied here in the U.S once they were delivered or at the time of manufacture overseas.No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

OK,
I have finished 7+ hours of honing and polishing. OK, I need to hold my breath.... BLADE IS AMAZING!!!!!! I just don`t know how they did it..... outstanding! I feels like is almost not touching your skin at all but hairs are magically gone!

I know, really good. I have also one other blade I like very much-Marx&Co. Really nice blade but... close to DD but not there yet. Well I still have 50 razor for restoration. Let`s see if there is anything that can match DD.

You may be right. If you look at the ducks... One set is a boy and girl duck and the other set are just two ducks!!! Need to check which ones real?
