    Default boker red injun 301 r.p

    Hi there just bought a boker red injun 301 r.p and was wondering if anyone had any info on them ,like whats the r.p stands for and around what year they were produced ,the one i have has a bone? carved handle looks very nice ,and as a newby to straight razors i dont have much of an idea about these razors yet,will post pics when it arrives .thanks for any input cheers collo77

    I got one of these within the past year and did a small amount of research. I've come to the understanding that R.P. means "round point."

    All the R.P.s I've come across in my searching had round points...except for mine; it's square. I don't know what curious chain of events led to this, but I find it interesting. The tang is stamped R.P., but it's square as the day is long (and hasn't been shortened). Mine has white celluloid scales and the matching cream colored box mentions the "white handle."

    Please post pics of your razor like you indicated, I'll be interested to see if anyone has more information on these. The 301s seem to be somewhat less common than the 101s.

    Thanks for the info guys,i bought it from a place called rubylane.com the pics are still on there most likely paid to much but once i see something i like i gotta have if i can.cheers again for the info.
