Thanked: 0Cheap protective sleeves for razors
I'm aquiring a lot of flea market razors and would like to provide some scratch protection for the scales. I'll figure to keep them in a box with some silica gel packets.
I found these pen sleeves (they have some others also).
Bear Tooth Woods - Lightweight Drawstring Pouch
I asked them for appoximate dimensions and they replied;
They are all about 6 inches long and will hold a ¾” diameter pen. The slender will only hold a ½” diameter pen.
What other solutions have you folks used?Last edited by Joed; 03-12-2012 at 05:59 PM.

go to your local cigar aficionado store. You know, the one where everyone hangs out and smokes.
ask for a few cigar boxes, and look for ones with the plastic inserts, which are perfect for keeping your razors separated.
throw a packet of silica or two in each that you get in shipping boxes and you have a nice free razor storage with style.

Thanked: 56Another way to keep them, you can get scrap leather from eBay for real cheap. You could just wrap the razors in it, or fashion your own sleeves

Thanked: 0Thanks everyone.
Benjamin, I like the boxes. Maybe I'll try and put my kids to work on them.
