    Default Middlebrooks Razor?

I've recently become intrigued by the art of straight razor shaving. After checking out ebay I bought a razor... it was described as a vintage B.W. Middlebrooks razor. I haven't been able to find much about this company on the internet. It looks to be in decent condition, will probably need to be honed but otherwise no chips or noticeable damage. I paid $10. I was hoping someone in this community would be able to provide a little history? Where it was made, quality, years produced? I know it may be a long shot but I figured I would ask. Also if you think it was a good buy for $10. Thanks in advance everyone! Pic attachedName: razor.jpg

Looks to be a good shaver candidate! A good, sturdy one! See if it was made in Germany. It could be a "hardware store variety" which is usually a good thing. I see you are new here, so I can advise to not talk money! Just saying! Now get us a picture of the tang stamps and perhaps that will shed light on it's orgin and quality!

Acording to Doyle it was located in Barnsville, Georgia. Check the Wiki on this site or Google it.

@ Sharptonn : Thanks for the info I'll check out the tang when it arrives and repost. Also, sorry about the faux pas, I'll keep that in mind next time I post.
