This week I picked a wade and butcher that is a little beat up but I love the "you lather well, I'll shave well etching" on it. It was going to be my first attempt to restore. Then I stopped by a little antique shop in the town I was working in and came across a genco vanadium 6/8 with only a small amount of red rust and a near mirror finished blade with faux tortoise scales. Today I am going to pick up some maas and get the rust of and try to toothpick out near the pin. So now the w&b is going to be my practice honing blade. I'll post some pictures of the genco later since it looks like I can't post from my phone. SWMBO might be a little annoyed when she discovers I've gone from one to three razors in a week. Well at least she hasn't discovered the new brushes yet!
