    Default A Dwindling collection of vintage straight razors

    Hello All,
    I hope not to bore you all with my thread.
    but i am sure my lock up has got Str8 razor Mice or Rats!
    my 25+ collection has all of a sudden dwindled down some what...it seems they knew what the expensive ones were

    Anyway a quick pic and names of them.
    some i couldnt pronounce or haven't heard of so hopefully you experts could lend a hand to ID.

    Thank you very muchkind Sir,
    i am debating at some stage donating some of them to an enthusiast either intersted in restoration or for the first str8 shave.
    this is brought on by my love of making them from scratch as to restoration.

    Boxes... you have got the boxes! This is so cool...

    My suggestion: pick up one and dedicate your efforts to it. Restore and hone it, and make your best to find its history, this can give you much fun. I think that if you start with Hamburg Ring it should be easier. In the meantime, forget the others, and move to the second when you are satisfied with the first. Also keeping a file of all your STR8S is very useful.

    I'm dying to try bigger blade like 7/8 or 8/8 blades and I'm just getting into restoring and sanding is tuff but fun so far
