You'd be best not buying factory packaged razor as these are rarely hit and most often miss as far as the edge goes, and require additional honing by somebody who's good at it.
Or a razor from a pawn shop for that matter.
But if you just want to browse while your wife's shopping any place is just as good as the next. If you are able to arrange a visit with max that'll certainly be a lot of fun - may be he has something that fits your budget that he can sell you. And may be you can cajole him to show you how to properly strop, make lather and shave with it. That'll be the best way to get into this type of shaving.

Believe that the above info is worth listening to. Buying a razor in an area like Vagas could be a real 'crapshoot' (:-). What's in Vagas may best stay in Vagas.

Thanked: 0I will for sure be picking Max's ear while there. I plan to bring 2 razors for honing.... and as it stands I ordered one from him for pick up. I truly hope he has the time to show me stropping while there so I keep this classic just that.... a classic

I got these razors in Vegas:

from a place called Highland Collectables. I'm jealous you're going to hang out with Max, of all the time I've spent in Vegas since getting into wet shaving I have still only had the pleasure of viewing his work online...
