My 1st razor.
I can't seem to find out much about this razor. The name was not stamped very deep and it looks like "Chriss Johnson&Co". Above the name it looks like a symbol of a barbers pole with a line at the bottom of it. Sorry for the poor quailty of the pics, taken with a cell phone.

Looks nice. The only info I can dig up is the following:
CHRISTOPHER JOHNSON & CO
Sheffield
ca 1865 - présent
Someone more knowledgeable may be able to chime in. This may not be the exact same company, but I think it might be. I came across some old posts so I'm sure that someone out there has one and can tell you how it will shave. Just have it honed and have fun!!

Hello guys
I have one I. My collection, but not had the opportunity to get her honed.
My razor was a very good shave and held her edge well.
Sorry i'm no more help on history.
Have fun
Brian

I wish I had taken a pic of it before I cleaned it up. It was a rusty dirty looking mess and had a chip in the cutting edge. It polished up like crazy with a little buffing and some flitz. I've been shaving with it for a couple months but I'd like to send it in to SRD and let one of the honemeisters work it over. Is there a way to tell if it's worth sending in? I wouldn't want to waste their time or my money if it's not.
