Thread: AMS of Sheffield Info

Good day,

I've got a razor of a friends that I'm trying to do some research on but as of yet to no avail.

A 13/16" blade in Ivory scales. Stamped "AMS Trade Mark - Silver Steel" I hope the logo shows through alright in the images.

The only refrence I've come across bearing the same logo is on the taylors1000 ebay site. He shows a picture with the same logo the only difference is this razor is stamped Silver Steel where his is stamped Sheffield.

If you have any thoughts I'd love to get some history on this one.

I played with the 3rd image as best as possible at work here to bring out the logo.
