Default 1727 razor and its uses, with drawing.

In a french book about Instruments for medecinal uses, there a small part that talk about straight razors.
Nothing really special about the text, it just gives an aproach about shaving an area before surgery.
But the drawing was really interesting. Enjoy

Cool razor but that thing to the left looks scary !
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

I'm going to say the thing on the left is either a scalpel or a lancet
    Be just and fear not.

IŽll go with the notion that its a lancet as well - double edged
Could that be jimping running down the spine?

No markings. Still trying to figure out where and when it was made.

This isn't mine, I'm pretty sure this belongs to someone on SRP, I liked it so much when I saw it, that I saved the picture.
