Thanked: 0Ford & Medley - The Wink
Hi All,
I've always been interested in knives and straight razors but never took the plunge into razors. For a while now I've seen this razor at the antique fares and yesterday decided that it was meant to be and bought it. I'd appreciate any info you can give me. It is a Ford & Medley Sheffield razor (on the front side of the tang). It also have the rope F & M logo on the reverse side of the tang. On the front of the blade it has etched in "The Wink" and below that Full Concave MVB razor. I can not see any pitting but there is some patina or black staining on the blade. The razor looks original with black hard rubber scales and brass pinning and retaining washers. I will load som pics later.
Please any info will be appreciated.Last edited by A2K; 04-01-2012 at 10:29 AM.

Steve Dempster at the Invisible Edge recently got a load of old blades of theirs from the family and put up a brief history here.
