    Default Boker popularity?

I've just recently contracted RAD and did a little research on this site before heading out to my local antique stores. Boker was a brand that seemed to be held in high regard so I was very pleased to be able to find some locally.
That being said in the last two months I have scoured about a dozen antique stores and found that locally every second or third salvageable razor I come across is a Boker.
    Any ideas why?

one thing I know or ime so far boker has this superior fit or finish standards versus Dovo or Thiers-Issard in a blade in terms of pinning, centering, grinding marks, etc.
don't get me wrong, I love ti & dovo too, I've all these 3 brands but so far boker never dissappoint me in term of those things

Bokers where just well made and durable. of course it probably did not hurt that their knives are very nice as well so if you had any brand loyalty you would have their razors and knives. of course coupling that with a goo distribution network you wound up with a lot of blades in circulation.

    i like all my bokers.
    Be just and fear not.
