    Default Henckels 415

I have a Henckels 415 and a I have a dilemma. In the process of restoration the original scales fell apart and what it appears to have caused this is celluloid around one of the pins degraded. I guess my option is to find one with a junk blade but good scales. Also what kind of red enamel should I use for the stamping?

I would fill the worn scale with epoxy, and re-drill the hole, and reuse! I think Troy-built tractor red comes in fairly close. But you can probably better match by going to the salon, and nosing through the nail polish!
