Thread: Strange phenomenon with a TI Evide Sonnant

I got a brand new Evide Sonnant with a factory edge which was very nice. I did a HHT test on it using a hair from a packet I received from a fellow member and it was a solid catch and pop (HHT 4 I guess). Anyway I have been testing it after stropping before each use and it seems to be getting sharper! I have used it about 10 times now and the hair now touches the edge and silently falls away. I'm fairly sure my face isn't some extremely fine hone so I assume it is from stropping. Has anyone else had a similar experience? Oh, it shaves like dream, easily my favorite razor.

Some razors are just really really good they are WOW razors I have seen a very few that are stand outs...

It's my case my first Kiebitz razor - WOW razor! And now I have a depression because even my 300 EUR TI Silverwing II shave worse, and I already purchase (still waiting) for 2 more razors in hope that they will be better!

WOW razors...there should be a club for those

My TI is definitely close to a wow razor(first honing was a wow, this honing is not as wow but close(was not honed by me just fyi)). My C-Mon is one (Glen honed). My Russian is one (was honed by me). all the others are just damn fine shavers
