Keep looking, you'll find good ones. I bring a small flashlight and always ask the people at the store if they have seen any even if I don't find any, I've had them pull out a box full that wasn't on the floor yet.

@rodb: which stores? I'm in St. Paul and have been trolling through a bunch near me. I'm near downtown: Grandma's Attic, Wescott Station, 7th Heaven, Antique Mall (Smith & Annapolis). I've found some at Grandma's Attic. There was a $200 NOS Hess in there and there's currently a $75 Boker and $25 Sharpe (something like that). I've looked at the Boker twice now. It looks like it has both heavy and uneven hone wear (maybe even a slight start to a frown in one section), so I've passed.

Was just looking for more antique stores in the area via google and stumbled on this post. Since it's recent... I thought I'd ask!

    Thanks!

I've been to all of those also. Try the ones on Selby and Fairview, that's where I found the Monopol. Stillwater also has about 5 stores. I travel out about 100 miles in my searches. I've found some great ones on W. Seventh.

There's a bunch of us in St Paul
