Thanked: 194Dubl Duck Gold Edge.
Hey everyone.
Just wanted to share this buy. I got this Duckie for $50 on the bay. It looks to be okay from the crap quality pics and still has the goldwash. I was not too concerned with it being only $50. Hopefully its good to go. It looks like it will clean up with no problems. Ill post my own pics when it arrives. till then, here is the listing pics.
it also came with two antique containers and a gillette tech or something.

Hard to tell from the pics. Odd coloration on that, maybe the lighting. You'll know when you get it.

Thanked: 51It's hard to say for sure based on the pics, but it doesn't look too bad regardless. Sometimes you can get really lucky with purchases off ebay. I purchased a Wusthof off eBay for all of $10.00 that looked terrible, but I decided to take the chance. As it turned out, it was a lot better than the pics showed (see the thread here -> http://straightrazorpalace.com/razor...thof-ebay.html).
My guess is that you've got yourself a good razor for less than half of what most GEs sell for, and as long as the bevel isn't corroded it should hone up and be a great shaver. Congratulations!
