    Default Sir Isaac Newton Razor

I saw this on the bay the other day and just had to have it. I live about 5 miles down the road from Sir Isaac Newtons birth place and thought it fitting.

It's in pretty bad shape but I should be able to clean it up a bit and return it to service.

    Anybody know anything about these?

The razor was made by Friedrich Ern & Co.

Looks very nice, and quite frankly, not in very bad shape actually. Doesn't appear (to me, at least) to have any bad honewear, so it will most probably clean up and hone well. Happy gravity, er, shaving with it

looks very cool, and I love having some sort of connect with my razors, however small.

I'll be cleaning it up once I get chance and I'll post some pics once its done.

There are a few of us that use them in the Melton Mowbray/Grantham area but I'm having a hard time convincing them to join the forum.
