Recent eBay finds
So I scored a Clauss with flowing hair scales and a big ole Wade & Butcher with original box. Pictures to follow.

perhaps a faux frameback, based on your earlier sideview picture as well.

I think it is a "Rattler" grind. A search for rattler should turn up something.
