    Default Dovo Honed

Hi everyone. I really don't kow where this thread belongs so feel free to move it. I just wanted to give everyone a heads up on a positively outstanding experience with Lynn. As most of the regulars here know, his work is the best and the Customer Service side is top notch as well. I had my Dovo (purchased on SRD) honed by Lynn and it came back crazy quick. Tomorrow will be the shave test, of which I have no doubt that it'll go back in its rightful place as the standard bearer for my other razors. Between this one and my Boker, they set a high standard indeed. Kudos and thanks to Lynn.

I need to learn to sharpen my razors myself, but when I get a blade back from Lynn it's always a pleasure to use. That said, I would bet there are others here who can put a keen edge on any razor. Hopefully me -- someday.

yeah...I've taken the plunge and bought a set of Nortons...200, 1000, 4000 and 8000 grit but...I'll probably send the Dovo and my Boker to SRD for expert honing so I can judge my abilities against the standard...the other razors I have will be my learning curve but the Dovo and Boker will get the "premium" service...lol...

I have stones and I do sharpen some old practise razors...I can get a shave ready edge from them but I still prefer to send my precious razors to lynn and other members for honing...they always shave better than my edges
