    Default Help with razor history?

I'm having a hard time finding information on this razor marked "Maude". I would like to know if anybody is familiar with this manufacturer or knows the history/origin? I've done an online search and had no luck.

the GR means it was around the time of king george IV...so 1821 - 1830
but that's where my help ends, maybe manah will stumble on this and offer more insight into "maude"

    THAT'S MY AUNT'S RAZOR!!

Her name was MAUDE. She only used it on Sundays to trim her mustache for church. The rest of the week people just thought she was her husband Hank.

All BS aside, that's a fine looking old razor.

Unfortunately, I have nothing to add now.
Only, that the razor style is very similar to Mappin & Webb razors. IMO.
