Default Joseph Rodgers razors dating - infos need?

I will appreciate if anyone can tell me when Joseph Rodgers start to mark razors with "Cutlers to Their Majesties".
Was it before 1901. or after 1901. when King Edward VII come to throne.
    I read two different oppinions:

1st says that they marked their razors with "Cutlers to Their Majesties" in time Queen Victoria because the old queen, even when Albert died, didn't remove his name from the Royal Title as a proved of love and respect - TO THEIR MAJESTIES - meaning Victoria & Albert)"

2nd says that they marked it with "Cutlers to Their Majesties" after 1901. - when King Edward VII comes to throne because they want to show that they was in business under 5 different monarchs.

I looked at above link and only I can find about "theirs" is what member "bluprinciple" said:

"....most makers who held Royal Appointments (I.e. Rodgers) of course made the most of it and a dating tip is that if it says 'Cutlers to their Majesties' it was certainly Victorian and very likely predates the death of Prince Albert - the firms dropped the word 'their' sometime after and in fact I have NEVER seen one struck 'cutlers to HER majesty' (i.e. Victoria) - you have to remember that Victoria was by far the most powerful figure in the World at that time and they didn't dare risk offending her as suggesting she may have had need for a razor would have been considered extremely vulgar! They started putting 'cutlers to His Majesty' on post-1901 as the new King was then of course Edward, but the practice of striking the tang 'GR' 'WR' etc had by then been dropped."

In the other hand member "manah" said:

"Just Joseph Rodgers made razors 1837-1901 with stamps:
"Rodgers Cutlers to Her Majesty Patent"
"Joseph Rodgers & Sons to Her Majesty Patent"
"Rodgers Cutlers to Her Majesty No 6 Norfolk St."
"Rodgers Cutlers to Her Majesty" - 1837-1890."

I've never seen " to Her Majesty" on the razors.
On the razor box, yes. But not on the tang.

The Rodgers razor set with "Cutlers To Their Majesties" on the tang and "Cutlers to Her Majesty" on the box.

P.S. This razor set was made in early 1840s.

Rodgers catalog from the second half of 19th century.
"Cutlers To Their Majesties" on the tang and "Cutlers to Her Majesty" on the top of the page.

But that's not Joseph Rodgers razor, it's Harrison Brothers and Howson.
