Default Any info on this Diamond Steel?

I picked up this razor today at a local antique store when I went looking for some old estate pipes. The owners know me well and gave it to me after I bought 3 pipes to restore. I was wondering if anyone knows anything about this razor? I've tried searching through the forums and while I get a few references to Diamond Steel, it usually isn't stamped on the tang. I'm assuming since it claims to be made in Solingen it will probably be a decent shaver, but I was wondering if anyone knew for sure before I shipped it off to be honed.

I don't know if it's a coincidence or not but I have a vintage Dovo which is marked Diamond Steel.

I have an antalope diamond steel razor, its almost a slight blue color, took a crazy sharp edge(but took a while to get there) and has very little flex for a full hollow seems quite hard to me.

I've yet to find a Solingen Razor that didn't take a nice edge, I've found that some are better than others! Send that razor out for honing and enjoy the ride!!! If you'd like a personal reference to who I prefer for honing (other than my self) let me know via PM!

I'll hone it for free all it will cost you is shipping to and from!
