Thread: Giesen & Forsthoff

I have two of the new G&F razors. One came with a warped blade (of couse it was the more expensive one), the other is a Timor Hamburg ring-not warped, shaves ok. I honed it with three strips of tape, turned out ok, but still not a "great shaver". For the price they are ok practice razors. Too bad they are not better, for the price they look good.

Maybe the heat treating is all over the map on these? In addition to the occasional wonky grinding.
