Thanked: 0need custom scales on my henckels 8/8
Hello Folks,
I have a great henckels 8/8 shaver and would like to have current scales replaced with buffalo horn.
Can you give me your input on who I could send the razor to?
Thanks! Frank

I could do it, but our resident specialist in working with horn is Robert Williams, aka papabull. I'm pretty sure he has the horn in stock, and he does great scale work. Judging by the razors he rescales for John Crowley, he specializes in big blades, too.

I'll agree that Robert is the man for that. I'm not sure if Urleebird (Bill Ellis) is working with horn or not, but that would also be a good contact.

Thanked: 1587I just bought an 8/8 Henckels from John Crowley with Sambar stag scales. If Robert Williams was the man responsible for those scales, I can't recommend him highly enough.

Thanked: 346I've got a pair of 7/8 and 8/8 Friodurs with oryx scales and an 8/8 W&B with Giraffe bone scales from Robert Williams. The 6/8 Friodur that I'm getting tomorrow almost certainly has horn scales from him in their future.

Thanked: 108If what you'll be getting rid of are those clear red plastic scales I might be interested in buying them from you.
