Default Is This a Real Clauss?

I just won this razor on the 'bay', and I got very wrapped up in other factors of this razor's condition that I didn't give much thought on the Clauss logo on the tang. Based on the pictures can anyone help identify authenticity?

    Thanks in advance,

Do you have any reason to suspect it is not a Clauss, despite it being stamped with that makers mark on the tang?
It looks perfectly legit to me..

It looks legit to me. i would say it is an earlier model before they switched they logo to a fancier font.

looks like the wedge is loose how are the pins?

@Fatnash I thought you won ebay auctions, sorry if i used the wrong terminology ;-)

@Birnando - the stamping is pretty different than what you usually see, the fancy scrolled C like what is on the box, and I have not found any other pictures of the stamping like the one on the razor I purchased.

@syslight - I'll update this post with condition once I receive it. I noticed that the wedge was out of position too, but I expected a bit of restore work when I bought it. The scales don't appear cracked at either pin or in the middle, and only slight discoloring of the scales of the characteristic Ebonite yellow-green color. Razor wear doesn't look horrible, but it is difficult to tell from ebay pictures... So my goal is to unpin the razor, clean up the steel, get the scales looking new as possible (and waxed if Ebonite), re-pinned and send it off for a sharpening. This is the main part of a full setup to be given as a gift.

I received the razor a day or so ago and the pin was loose enough to allow the wedge to spin. Unfortunately, the scales don't seem to be Ebonite but more like plastic so I think I will be making some scales for it.
