Thread: Any thoughts or Ideas on this new 5 piece Wacker set?

Hello Gentlemen!

One of many dreams came true today. I told my wife that a Wacker was one of my dream razors and that if I got one, I'd wouldn't have to buy anymore. As it just happened, she took it to heart and allowed me to bid on this 5 day Wacker set on Ebay which I didn't get my hopes up for winning thinking it would easily overreach my bid range. However I almost pee'd myself when I saw that I won it and it only reached $400. I am still in shock but have regained bladder control. Now I am nervous because the price was so low. Was there something seen in the pics that I missed that lessened the demand? Why didn't people see the value of 5 Wackers for this price? I assumed at least it would go for $500 minimum considering $100 per wacker in working condition is good but this low of a price scares me. Especially, because now I have to sell off alot of my collection to make the money back per our agreement. Anyhow, I've also read that Wackers can be finnicky when honing. I have moderate honing skills. Would you reccomend I try it myself or send them off? I would like to get some feedback from people with Wacker experience, especially since I plan on keeping these and only letting go upon my death or dismemberment. They appear to be in very good condition but the price being so low makes me think I may have missed something here. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!
