    By the picture, I'd say at least half of them can be made shaveable again; the only question is how pretty they'll look.

    Wullie: is that tripe in the background if your photo?

    I was guessing petrified dinosaur stomach lining, prototripe, as it were.

    Now that I have sniffed all of my razors, what type of acidic smell should I be smelling? Is it more like vinegar or hydrocloric? Thanks for all of the great info and pictures in this thread.

    I just got my Top Flight in the mail and immediately tried some chemicals to get rid of the rust. CLR followed by a couple rounds of Maas didn't even take care of all of it. I will go to the Dremel wire wheel next.

    This is going to be the worst (by amount of rust and edge damage) razor I've ever tried restoring.
