    Default Ern Ator owner PIF

WARNING: the second photo may not be for the faint of heart. proceed at your own risk.

So I was hitting up some antique stores in smaller towns and there it was...hiding in the back of a display case. Trying to keep cool, I ask the lady to see the box along with a few other things around it. There is a razor in it! My heart lept a little. I open the box and see a price tag of $3. I slowly pull out the razor and this is what I see:

I can't believe it. So far with antiquing I have found a few interesting pieces, but NEVER have I actually found something on my (relatively) short list of razors to acquire...and I never imagined if I did, that it would be for $3. So now the moment of truth:

I tried doing an ancient native american razor regrowth dance right there in the store, but no...there was no saving this once noble razor. Sad as I was, since it was only $3, I figured there may be some of you out there who have an ATOR and would like a perfectly fine set of the original scales and box. Box isn't in GREAT shape (ends are busted) but it's in pretty good shape and I haven't seen too many boxes floating around out there...and while they aren't the sexiest scales out there, I've seen some ATORs in pretty hideous custom scales (and some amazing ones), but for $3 and another couple of bucks to ship, I figured I would try and mildly redeem this tragedy that has befallen me by helping out someone lucky enough to have an ATOR blade, but would love to have the scales/box. So here's the rules:

For those of you who have an ATOR, post your picture below of your blade(s). Everyone else, please "like" the photo that you feel is the most deserving of the original scales. In one week, which ever photo has the most likes, I will send you the busted blade/scales/box free of charge. This way I can also beat myself up by looking at all your beautiful non-busted ATOR blades as well

    Cheers

Yep. Rare scales! I finally got some for a plain-scaled 6/8 in my display. Have not had the heart to do the transplant yet. Bakelite is fragile!

I literally went on there by accident and saw it for sale. I check his site every now and then for the hell of it
