Hello everyone, I'm brand new to straight razors and wish to purchase one to later restore. Does this razor have too much wear to be used as a shaver once restored? Or should I pass on this razor?

I think that razor looks great, if you like it you should totally get it. Actually, it has very little work that needs to be done with it

As long as there are no major rusty or pitted areas near the edge, it is fine. Christensen's are great shavers i own a few and have had many others. nice vintage US steel

I would not hesitate to snag that one. In a heartbeat!!

Get it and enjoy it, it looks to be in excellent condition.

It seams to me that they are goos and nice razors. I think theirs no a lot of work to do on them. You can make a good blade from that.

    thanks
