    Default Wade & Butcher "Special"

I am having some trouble finding out more information about my Curley N.Y. "Aristos" W&B. It is a "Special" Improved tang and it has "Saturday" on the spine. Just with that is once was a part of a seven day set. I have seen a few just like it on eBay. Here are some pictures.

    J. Curley and his brother, Terrence F Curley were wholesalers in New York City from the 1880's. I believe that they were Irish immigrants. They sold all manner of cutlery and Brother Terrence held several patents from what I gather. They were big on having their name stamped as is evidenced by your W&B and this French razor.
