Hello Gentlemen,

I got this razor as a gift a few months ago and have started doing resto on it. I need some help identifying its approximate age. I saw some info that puts it in the approximate late 1700's and then some contradicting info dating it in the mid 1800's. All I know is that after cleaning the rust off, its a VERY heavy wedge approx 7/8 and says Tillotson Celebrated Sheffield on it. Any help can be appreciated it. I've got my before and "so far" pics below.
