    Default Help with unknown maker.

Hi to you all. I got this in the mail today. But i can't get a grip on who's the maker is.
I would be grateful if there is someone who can identify this straight.
It needs some cleaning and maybe new scales since I don't like the original, but it will be a later question.

    Thanks in advance.Ullmencott.Name: DSCN0171.jpg

It might be made by the Crown Razor Co. Not sure though.

    Thanks a lot Theseus.
Do you mean Crown cutlery or is there another Crown maker?

If I'm not mistaken, there was a Crown Razor co. and Crown Cutlery Co. Weather these were related in any way I don't know. There are others on this site much more knowledgable than me in these matters.

I can't tell you much about this one, except that I like it
It could easily be a Crown as it looks similar to the ones I have

I can't say for sure who made this razor.
But "Our Best" was used by Cattaraugus Cutlery Company , Little Valey, NY.
