Thanked: 1587Yeah, by my reckoning that is a 27/32th at the heel and around 63/64ths at the toe. Plus or minus 2/8ths.
James.

If we guess right can the winner have the razor?
I'm going with 8/8" at the toe and 7/8" at the heel

Thanked: 884It'll probably scare an 8/8 but I'll be surprised if it makes it.

It doesn't matter if it is 8/8 or 8/8+.
What matters is the words used to describe it.
Is it:
A chopper?
Huge?
Monstrous?
Intimidating?
Bodacious?
Awesome?
UFB?

To answer the OP it's almost impossible to determine size without something of a known size to measure. But you are lucky today because I have the same scales.
I then measured the picture off my phone and the same measurement in the picture is 14.66
The heel of the blade on my phone measures 12.91, the mid portion 13.88, the toe 14.69
Setting up some simple math proportions gives me the answer.
The toe of the blade in real life would be 2.48 cm, the mid portion 2.34 and the heel 2.15.
There are 2.54 cm in an inch so no part of that is over an inch in thickness.
The toe is over 15/16 but not quit 8/8. The heel is between 13/16 and 7/8.
Hope it helps.Last edited by Doc226; 05-27-2012 at 07:38 AM.
