Thanked: 0Mother-loads Pt II
Went back to the Grand Rivers Antique Mall. I was scouring the razors for the very cheap ones till my mom told me I had an $80 budget for whatever I'd like. Thank goodness too because at that moment I spotted a Wade & Butcher. A butcher's knife of a razor with a barber's notch. Made in Sheffield England. It makes me think (though I don't know it's age) that Mr. Todd might've used something like this to do his "business". XD
Of course I also got the Tiger Striped one I mentioned in the previous journal. It's brand-name is Money-Back and it comes from Los Angeles, CA. It was practically shave ready when I bought it and nearly flawless. The combination cost me $50. The Double-Duck mentioned to me was too expensive at the time as it would've depleted most of my allowance even though it would be worth it. It did look extremely clean. I was also informed that the dealer brings in Razors all the time. A small lump of joy emerged from my heart and manifested into a smile. (...that was quite poetic XD)
I didn't really want to spend too much of my money in one place but perhaps I very well should have. Went to Cherokee Antiques in Cadiz and ended up spending money on a razor that I didn't notice had a crack on the blade. I want to keep my collection at 7 razor so my mom was kind enough to say that that razor didn't count and I needed two more instead of one. The razor is a Ohlium from Olean, NY. Can anyone tell me about this brand?
So now what I plan to do is probably get my Wade & Butcher restored by myself or paying someone to do it. (Any takers?) Definitely have it honed by Lynn or someone that does the honing service of SRD.
I'll post pictures soon.

Makeshift light box with a white backdrop on my desk. Felt too obligated to take pictures to sleep tonight.
