    Default Knife World Article

    Hello all,

I also posted this in another board but I figured it is worth posting here as well. I received the article from another member and thought it might be pretty neat for everyone to read. I volunteered to scan it in so anyone could read it, some brought up some copyright issues so I emailed the editor of knife world and he not only agreed to let me use the article but also provided the article in a PDF format-Thank you Mark.

The article appeared in the May 2012 issue of KNIFE WORLD

Unfortunately the overhead of brick&mortar stores can lead to plain wrong statements like:
And just how much should a person expect to lay out for a decent, factory produced model? “If you pay under a hundred dollars for a brand new straight razor, it’s not worth the money because the quality is not there,” stressed Heimerdinger.
    Apparently at that particular vendor
the regular Dovo retailing in the $130-$150 range
but we all know they can be had with fixed factory edges for 40% less if one is willing to buy over the phone/internet.
