T-I Spartacus
This morning I have really realized the feeling of Smooth-Sweet-Suave Shaving. I have received the 7/8 Thiers-Issard Le Grelot red boxelder burl scales, unused, I have got on ebay. I love the look, the color and the touch of this Razor. The seller said that the variant mounted on Red Box Elder burl scales was created in limited numbers, and is no longer available at source. Anybody knows more?

I don't know that specific variant but I have a few TI Spartacus razors and they are all first rate. Enjoy it.

Thanked: 4942TI of late has used the Spartacus name on several new razors. All have been nice shavers. To me this has been more a marketing thing due to the popularity of the original Spartacus razors. Not a bad ting.
Enjoy.

These 7/8 Le Grelot razors are actually old stock found hiding in a box at the back of TIs warehouse. They are indeed limited, as they stopped making them years ago. I have just purchased the last blade available as brand new from TI, with rams horn scales. I have 2 of these blades, the other one with purple box elder burl. I also have a Dreadnought with blue box elder burl and an Oak wing G. All very nice razors and all hone and strop to a great finish. I only wish I had had the funds to buy a couple more when they were around.
I'm sure you'll have years of great shaving with this blade. Enjoy.
