Default Maestro Livi Stag Horn, French Tipped 8/8 ATS 34 Blade

My newest acquisition from the the Maestro. I ordered this one custom made thru Lynn Abrams.

The scales are a Rustic Three Pin Stag Horn with the Maestros signature.

The blade is ATS 34 steel and 8/8 wide with a French Tip and decorative fluting on the spine all the way back to the tang.

The box is veneered in what I believe to be Burled Maple. The end of the box has a small replica of the scales that are on the razor.

I have shaved with this razor and it was incredible. Very sharp, out of the box, and very comfortable and balanced.

This razor is really a piece of art and very well built and very beautiful.

I love the french style tip, it's a shame that it's usually relegated to the little 4/8 and 3/8 razors.

That's a lovely razor. And the box is a beauty too. Nice one.

I'll third that sentiment. There's just something about french points that's very distinctive.
