    Default How many?

How many straight razors do you have? Are they shave ready?

I recently sold 3, so now I'm only down to 2!!!''
They are both shave ready, rotated daily in fact.

I'm starting to have small anxiety attacks....I need a few more blades..

I have about 11 or 12 razors that are all 4/8 and under that I rotate - all shave ready. Two bigger ones I got just to make sure that my 4/8 and under thing wasn't a mistake - shave ready. Then another bunch (under ten I think) that struck me as I surfed the Bay that I'll restore one day. They are all different sizes and some are very handsome!

Maybe I should get gssixgun to finish some of those "handsome" ones - the blades I have seen him finish are remarkable!

This may sound psychotic, but I have way too many for someone who has only been using them for 4 months. I have been wheelin' and dealin' and sold some music equipment I wasn't using. I also started right on my birthday and got a bit o' moolah from my parents and grandparents. So I dove in headfirst and I have 19 Shave ready razors, 8 in the midst of some sort of restoration, and 3 that I have given away to people to get them started with wet-shaving, and 3 duds. I have used all of my shave ready razors at least twice, and most a lot more than that. I have also re-sold 10 that I either didn't like, or just didn't suit me. I sold some 4/8's because I didn't like the feel of the smaller razor.

So long story short I have about 30 right now . I have seven in a rotation(6 double jimped), and about 4 other favorites that I sub in and out... Well that's it.

I refuse to answer on the grounds that it might incriminate me.

That had to be tough downsizing that much! 18's a good number though.

    I'm at around 30
I'd say 17 are shave ready and the rest just need a good honing.

Just gave two away to get some folks into it.

About to sell off a few to buy new ones.

Oh by the way it helps to be single to accrue a collection in the high numbers.
