    Close, well, sort of. I am not really sure. I think it was made in Turkey. Or Najeeb was from there.

    I got really excited when I saw this thread. Najeeb is my father's name! He's 100% paki though...
    also, Malluk and Malik are common last names from the same region.
    that doesnt bode well for the quality of that razor...

    Where'd you get it? I might pick one up just to have as part of the collection!

    I found it at a local Antique mall. I always seem to find some of the obscure manufactures.

    Here is another pic of the blade. Yes, there is the Statue of Liberty with a boat sailing to it. That is a little anachronistic. I mean by the time the Lady was built weren't we a bit more modernized? On the top it reads, 'America my Home.'

    If you look here Straight Razor Manufacturers and Dates of Operation there is a Najeeb Malluk listed. Considering the blade etching this might be the one. Very interesting SR for a few reasons. Nice find.
