Henkels 415
Gents,
I have a 415 that I need some help with. I am trying to restore the red enamel that was once on the etching to no avail. When I apply to paint to the etching and try to wipe off the excess, it pulls the paint out of the etching. I cleaned the blade with some mild dish soap to remove any oils. Should I thin out the paint so I can "float" it in the etching."The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants. It is it's natural manure."

Thanked: 88Maybe something that could squeegee the paint off without absorbing it, like an or wiper blade, rubber band, etc.? You could probably rub a small amount off once dried with coarse cloth.
