    Question Razor ID Info

    I would like to know who made this razor? Any info would be great thanks! I've searched online and the forums here, but found nothing.

    D.C.& H.Co. on one side of the tang Germany on the other side. empress of India etched on the blade.

    Welcome to SRP! Your razor was probably sold by the Dunham, Carrigan & Hayden Co., of San Francisco. They were a large hardware dealer that sold all kinds of cutlery. Your razor was probably made by an unknown German manufacturer, of which there were many, and stamped with the DC&H logo for resale in their stores. From the photos it looks like it has been rescaled, but could still make a decent shaver if you get it honed by an experienced hand. Look in the classifieds section of the forum for a honemeister near you.
