    Default W&B question

I seen this W&B at the antique store, sorry for the bad photo, I took the photo through the display case.

Its a good size maybe 6/8 or 7/8 the only marking are " wade & butcher Sheffield"

I have never seen a W&B with scales like this. Are they original? And I assume that would be faux shell right?

Looks like a restore...price isnt bad..but restoring it will bring it back to life for many more uses :-)

Those could be original scales. Possibly mottled horn.

Original or not, those scales look real cool on that blade.

I see no reason to think they aren't original. I've seen several W&B razors with similarly decorated scales. And yes, they're dyed horn.

Personally, I'd buy that in a heartbeat. But I do my own restoration, so adjust accordingly.

Normally I would have jumped on it, but razors don't sell in my area too well. So I know it will be there if I change my mind. But mainly because I have too many in the restore bin waiting on me as it is.
