New mystery French razor!!!
So I took a plunge and bought the unknown French razor I posted about a while back and I'm sure glad I did because she is a beauty!!! All the way from Spain in 5 days, here she is:
Apparently nobody knows who Dellac Coutellerie are. Its in excellent condition, not sure how old she is, couple decades maybe? Who knows, all I know is that I love it!

Congrats! That's a fine looking razor. I have a couple blades that no one seems to know anything about and for me it just adds to their mystique.

I read your previous thread asking about that razor. I would have bought it if you changed your mind (your previous post had watermarked pics). It is a very nice looking razor, and I think that a manufacturer doesn't put that kind of craftsmanship into junk steel.
I'm looking forward to hearing how it shaves, it looks great.

That is a really good looking. What kind or tip is that? Looks like a cross between a barbers notch and a rounded tip/edge whatever it is called

Very nice looking razor.
I think I have one of those but your one is much prettier.
I would think that is a "dreadnought" tip :- http://straightrazorpalace.com/razors/42322-why-2.html

Thanked: 3164Beautiful razor - congratulations! Can't tell you much other than the maker was a certain Monsieur René Jean Francois Louis Dellac, born in 1903 at No. 13, Grand Rue. His father was also a cutler - Pierre Jean Louis Dellac, born in 1883. As the grandfather was an umbrella salesman, it seems likely that no razors were produced before the late 1890s. The address is now a gift shop.
