Production date question
Hello all good people,
does anyone could help me tell from what year is this razor? I see many dates engraved on the razor itself but no idea which one is manufactured date. Also does this is normal shape of this razors? I know it is frameback but razor shape is unregularly. Is this the way this straight razor were originally manufactured?

I can't help with dates, however I have several blades that are that shape and can only assume they were made that way.

Good chance it's 1889 of later(:-). I also don't see a country of origin on it. Only the city. So that also dates it.

I'm pretty sure the early date and reference to Paris, if I'm reading it correctly , are to commemorate an award won at a cutlery convention or something. Some Escher hones have ink stamps with Gold Medal and a place and date. The razor seems to be an Engstrom and has both Elskituna and Sweden on it so it is post 1891 or somewhere around there. The Philadelphia stamp may be for the importer ? Eventually manah or Neil Miller will see this thread and may have more detailed ..... and probably more correct .... info. Nice frameback and Engstroms shave well IME.

Even the Philadelphia stamp is probably some sort of reward. I´ve seen it on some other Swedish straights before.
