I totally appreciate your input and advice. This little transition to straight razor shaving has become quite fun. Lol. And addicting.

Tell me about it - I have one that I bought just to look at lol - I'll get to it one day! After all the good things I have heard about them, I just couldn't pass it up even though it's way bigger than what i am used too lol.

I love my Wosties. My IXL Swiss is a sweet razor. I also have 3 Pipes myself.

Just picked up an IXL Wostenholm and a pair of Dickinson Invicta's. All in original cases and in excellent condition. Collect knives but know little about razors. What is the difference between a "regular" razor and a Pipe razor. Thanks and I'll try and post pics later.

I have two of these and they're both difficult to hone due to uneven hone wear. One not as bad as the other. My newest tho. .. Oh man. This thing is giving me problems. I've tried everything. I've been able to set the bevel evenly but it took a long time and every trick I know. Polishing thru took even longer. I shaved with it and it shaved. ... decent. I'm gonna kill it and go thru the whole cycle again to see if that evens things up.
