this is the same set I got when I started st8 shaving. Hooked to str8 eversince

Good choice on the size 6/8, imo, its easier to learn with some weight
with the 5/8 I more tend to nick my self because it's too light

and I love that simpson beaufort brush, best looking handle,
I plan to get the beaufort 6

Everything you need to begin shaving with a str8 razor is there and its all top quality stuff, even the folks at SRD are top quality and the nicest folks you can deal with.
