Who would have thought that Lethbridge would have the motherload? Here in Edmonton there's bugger all.....

Which reminds me, a good friend of mine is currently vacationing in that area

Maybe they're making them out of old RR tracks.

The thing that really annoys me though is that I am only 30 miles or so from Sheffield ( My passion is old Sheffields) and I really struggle to find any. I just hate the thought of all these beautiful quality razors being nothing more than scrap steel.
    So So sad.
Once they are gone they are gone for ever. Such a shame!
Kindof a shame. England has a big tax on imports! Anti-knife policies! Seems a lot of English sellers out there. Pm 'em and get to know them. Local sellers have a lot!

So I went back and bought the sheffield WITNESS and polished it up... just waiting for my hone to arrive I ordered it today. And My buddy (PaPaMarmalade) took Home 1 more boker (Old king cutter) and a "No Name" Soligen razor.

I will post pics of the razors polished and honed...

Wish I had an out of the way hot spot... Antique stores around here are like a puddles of honey along an ant trail. Everyone that heads out here to visit Rocky Mountain National Park stops at all of our shops. Great for the vendors but it doesn't leave much for us locals. And what's not picked over is twice the going price. OK, done whining here....

alas it was too good to be true, antiques on 9th shut its doors in lethbridge but before it that i picked up two more king cutters with cases and made two wet shaving kits and gave them away to friends. I moved back to B.C. last March and it was gone then, i'm not sure the actual date it went tits up. also remember to check your thread dates this post is pretty old.
