Thanked: 1D. Peres with the inscription "EMPLURIBUS UNUM".
Hi all.
Has anyone seen a razor like this before?
It's a D. Peres. On the blade there is an eagle with the inscription "empluribus UNUM". I found it at a flea market. The blade had a lot of rust and pitting. After a few rounds using rust remover, sandpaper and "Dremel polishing", it is now quite nice (see before and after photos below).
I have Googled it, but can not find a picture of, or information. Anybody know anything about this model?
Now i'll try to get it to shave :-)
P.S: From Wikipedia: "E pluribus unum was considered a de facto motto of the United States until 1956 when the United States Congress passed an act (H.J. Resolution 396), adopting "In God We Trust" as the official motto."

I have one just the same.
Edit: Well not quite the same, mine is a spike point and the engraving is slightly different. But same enough.Last edited by andrewmurray86; 11-14-2015 at 01:19 AM.

Google "Daniel Peres" instead. The guy who very much single-handedly put Sheffield out of business. Thank you kindly for not plonking driftwood, recycled bowling balls, or glow-in-the-dark recycled marriage aids onto that razor. It is rare, and beautiful. Enjoy. Peres razors are among the very best you can get.
