Thanked: 2Pike Ejectoblade
My father-in-law dropped off a Pike Ejectoblade razor yesterday in absolutely fantastic condition. The disposable blade in it has a few light orange spots but otherwise, the whole shebang looks almost new. I really like the shape and feel of this razor and would like to compare it to my other disposable 'straight' to see if it's worth rotating into my group of users or if it will take a place on the shelf. I could probably clean and hone the existing blade but I'd really like to start with a fresh one. I found some replacement blades online that look like they would fit but I want to be sure before I buy them. Does anyone own one of these and know what sort of blades, if any, would work? This is the closest-looking thing I could find and NOS of the Pike blades does not appear to be available anywhere:
I apologize if this has been asked before, I ran a couple searches and didn't come up with anything.

Thanked: 2Ok, the only thing I can come up with short of buying a new digital camera is using my infrared camera. Sorry about the funky color but it's the nature of the beast. The handle is actually a green so dark that it looks black until you hold it up to a light source, weird how the infrared passes right through it, eh?
Here's the best webcam shot I could get:
Anyway, hope it helps.

Thanked: 2I guess it's fairly uncommon, I'm having trouble finding info anywhere.

The blade , could be a special size , and only fit Ejectoblade razors . The ad says the blade can , and should , be honed , and stropped . If the blade is in decent shape , you may want to try that . Hopefully someone who knows , will chime in .

Thanked: 2I thought it pretty neat. They were manufactured near here so I'm wondering if I might be able to find more.
