With so many posts on this site I may have missed a reference but...anyone seen Brockton before? I had bought a few ebay SR8s a few years ago. Now that I have become serious about this hobby I got them out and founded one of those in the best condition was a Brockton. That's stamped on the tang in all caps with no other stampings. Blade itself in good shape, Appears to be, to my newbie eyes, a 6/8 half hollow with rounded tip.

I decided to make it the subject of my honing practice so went to work with my Norton 4/8K, then my new Naniwa 12K followed by a CrO pasted strop and finally a good regular stropping. Used it to shave this AM and had a very pleasant experience.

So...I would imagine there are hundreds of off-brand SR8s out there. Anyone run across Brockton? Thanks
